Passing

When I left the apartment to go to work for my afternoon shift, I had no idea yet what I could possibly blip on the last day of 2017. I definitely hadn't thought that I would see a Great Crested Grebe swim past when I arrived at the bus stop a few minutes early. Photographing it wasn't easy though as it was very windy and low-hanging branches of the weeping willows kept blowing in the way but I eventually managed this one picture only seconds before my bus arrived.
