Underexposed at the beach.
Happy New Year!
We had a nice leisurely start to the New Year then we went with my sister to visit my niece and her family. It was lovely sitting on the deck with a jar of left over punch and some dips. When my great niece awoke we went to the local beach. I didn’t take my bathers as I thought it would be as cold as Portsea the other day. It wasn’t, so I had to content myself with a paddle and photographing my nieces in the water. A young woman came up to me and said she was a photographer and suggested a nice way to photograph mother and baby against the water. I did try this but I preferred my overexposed water reflections and silhouettes. Hubby chose this one and I have put another in extras along with the suggested technique as an overexposed image. Markus_Hediger has a great challenge going with Experimental Photography https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2393340793076056358, the first one being reduced exposure.
The day ended with baby bathed and asleep so we could polish of the leftover spit roasted meat, salad and desserts. It was a lovely start to the new year with family.
