Beach walk

For the first time in days the rain stopped and the sun came out.

We got out early and walked for a while at Long Strand where it was bright and bracing.
Then to Drombeg stone circle where the wind was less sharp and the sun warmer. There was a big puddle in the middle of the stone circle which entertained Freddie for ages. Great fun, running and splashing and getting soaked, and then running all around the field.
Then onto Glandore for lunch which we ate sitting outside overlooking the water. In the sunshine.
A great start to the new year altogether.
