The calm before the storm

The heavens opened shortly after this picture was taken and as usual I was ill prepared clothing wise so looked like a drowned rat when I got home. Nice to change into warm dry clothes though and watch a good movie (Dances with Wolves) whilst munching on a sandwich and downing a nice hot cup of tea.

Talking of the film, it still amazes me when i see the dates for the American civil war and the Indian wars, you watch it and think it is another world, another time but this was when my great grandparents were alive! Unbelievable.
