Starting as I intend to continue

For many years I’ve not done anything special on the first day of the year. So this year I’m doing things differently.

The King Alfred buses are normally running on the 1st January. And as you can see they were running today as expected.

HtP and I had lunch in town and then dropped into the Mill to wish everyone happy new year. Whilst I was there I helped to shut down the milling process.

We’ve then had the remainder of the turkey as a curry. It was scrummy.

So a very good start to the year.
