Calm grey

After the purple angst of yesterday...the blue calm of today!

Walked for miles along the Tyne this morning. I think I may need a hip replacement!

It was like Oxford Circus!
People on bikes,
People in boats,
People with prams
People with dogs
People with friends

..and me hiding behind a tree trying to take a photo without being noticed with my junior camera.

This is Newburn Bridge. The Tyne is tidal here still and it was nearly empty. Which is unlike the village of Newburn which nearly disappeared in the last floods.

Off out for cake lunch soon! So from calm grey to happy yellow.
