Cold START MonoMonday 206

Single digit wind chills (right at 0’F this AM.) 25’F right now and most of the day (-3 or -4 C) with 10’ wind chill! In this old house, we leave faucets dripping to help prevent frozen pipes! :—) I had to take bowls of water to the chickens today too as theirs is frozen solid! Call me crazy, but I love it!! I’m sure if it were the norm, I’d grow tired of it but we only have a few consecutive sub-freezing days a year. I find them enjoyable and feel slightly guilty about it as I know the cold does create problems for some.
