Good memories

Now that we are into 2018, it was 110 years ago this year that my father was born. I found this much treasured photo of him in his victorious Hahndorf football team. They were the champion Aussie Rules football team in 1931, winning their Adelaide hills premiership.

My father is seated front row, third from left, the good looking 23 year old guy. He was vice captain. The captain holding the ball between his knees was dad's brother in law, John Mullin. Uncle John later played in the SANFL team for West Adelaide where he was quite a star. Dad passed away in 1996 after a long, happy and healthy life.

The photo quality and camera technology of the time are not too bad seeing the photo is almost 87 years old.
