A New Year

evening all,

well, that was a good start to the New Year.

We joined the annual Alnmouth New Year's day dip into the chilly embrace of the North Sea.

It was about a year in the planning, about 10 minutes in execution, as we, and about 100 other idiots threw ourselves with day abandon into the water.

Mind you, we were a bit more feckless than most and wore wetsuits, t shirts, hats and many other undergarments, whilst the robust wore very little, pale flesh turning lobster pink due to the pinprick cold water shock.

It was great...that'll be same time next year then.
