Back to a dreich Balfron

This morning P returned from Christmas with her family in Canada, so I am back in my own home until next weekend when she goes off again to a new job. This time, because she'll be based in Liverpool, she's hoping to come home for the occasional weekend.

I was shocked and saddened to receive news of the death of a former pupil of mine, the son of a well-known Scotland and Rangers footballer. As a six-year-old he was the class clown, full of mischief but very lovable. It was one of his classmates who sent me the news of his death at the age of 49. So young :-(
