Full moon over Shetland

The moon was clear and bright over the North Sea as we made our way from house to house for New Year festivities...which was just as well as our friends houses are off the main street which means long walks up dark tracks.  All's well though, we did not end up in any ditches which is always a bonus.  The skies up here are so much clearer and it's hard to walk home at night without stopping to stare up at the stars.  Less pollution means it's all much clearer.  Here's to a happy and healthy 2018.
