A Happy New Year

A happy, new and novel way to start a New Year — Elbows and Sons cooked a tasty full English breakfast for 13. Now that was a first!

And then we met up with friends for a muddy dog walk in Epping Forest. And then back for tasty tea and games at CurlyWhiz’s home.

And then, once the 13 of us were back at ours, and after a film break, I piled the leftovers onto the kitchen table and everyone feasted some more until the small hours. I’m glad we live on a corner, with our only neighbours away, as we generated a serious level of noise.

One of the funniest quotes was from LongLegs - he said something like - “I can’t swim under water - my face leaks”. ?!?!

Anyway, at some point, lovely Ben turned up too and we landed up with 14 bodies sleeping here overnight.

Boy - work tomorrow. Eeek.
And boy - so many people leaving tomorrow. :-(
