Rainy days

It’s been a horrible wet, cold day today. Me and the kiddies stayed indoors. We watched some films and played (whilst catching up with the washing and ironing).

I thought it was time to let Phoebe have my old Polly Pockets. I’ve been putting it off for a few years as they are so precious to me. I was worried she wouldn’t look after them. But I’ve realised if I wait too long she’ll be too old to enjoy them. I collected them as a child and they were my number 1 toy. I’ve kept them stored in a box since leaving home, waiting for this day...to give them to my own daughter. And it couldn’t have been better! Phoebe loved them and played with them all afternoon. She was so excited to open each one and see what was inside. I heard her making up her own little stories and it was just like watching my younger self. I took this picture and sent it to my mum.

Can’t believe yesterday’s blip was my 1460th. 4 years of blipping! That’s crazy.
