window

small class today. only six showed up.

i used to live with Co Tu (dad's sister) between 2nd and 4th grade. her house is literally right behind the school. the picture of that window is taken from in front of her house. that window in particular used to be my classroom's. on days when i was lucky enough, someone would leave the window open and i would climb right in to go to class. they did have window bars though, but i was also tiny.

looking at it now, the window seems so close to the ground, yet i remember struggling to climb in. just how tiny was i?!
