A Beach Day

The weather report had been saying that today was the only day this week that we'd have sunshine and the snow would stop.  So I planned on getting out for some sunny winter shots.  

The wind was whipping up the snow from the ground and I made an attempt to capture that.  I also had fun trying filters.  I tried a few ND images and here I used the polarizer.  

I heard a good tip about keeping your fingers warm in this bitter cold... wear rubber gloves under your regular gloves.  It worked!  My fingers usually freeze and today I lasted 4 times longer than usual (fairly comfortable).
