Canada Geese Overflight

As I was unloading the camper at home this afternoon, a low flying flock of Canada Geese passed over.
I heard their raucous calls for nearly a minute before they arrived.
I'm not certain what it was all about, but the flight went directly overhead and extending equidistant to each side an unusually long ways.
The din the flock created swelled in volume until it was deafening as they passed over, then just as quickly the noise faded into the distance.
