The night was wet and windy. There were reports of 4 fallen trees blocking roads within a 5 mile radius of here.

I ventured out about midday, on foot. First along to Rydal when I took this photo and then back to Ambleside on the Under Loughrigg road. The rivers were high and there was some flooding in fields. 

It started to rain as I arrived home and hasn't stopped for a few hours. I timed that well :)
