Wild and Wide Wednesday – Water
The wildness of the wind during the night continued on and off for most of the morning. An abortive trip to the farm shot meant I was near some gravel pits/flood meadows that now have rather aggressive signs about no public access. My guess is that the fishing rights of the lakes have been let and they don’t want to be disturbed!!!
Today's shot for Wild and Wide Wednesday is taken from a bridge spanning the Great Ouse, looking out over this gravel pit meadow and into the sun and you can see that the flood meadow is being pressed into use, flooding the meadow and connecting the pits.
I did find it quite difficult to stand still given the strength of the wind so fence and bridge upright were pressed into use as support
