A New Toy

A long, complicated and tiring day - not helped by my cold having now developed. Sore throat, headaches and stuffed sinuses!

Our granddaughter had stayed overnight and after breakfast we went off to Monks Cross at York…we went for coffee and then for a family meet up which seemed to involve sitting around most of the day in cafes, drinking tea and eating cake - sound familiar blippers? Mrs madwill’s mother, an aunt, a couple of cousins and associated husbands were there.

I did collect a new camera from John Lewis and there was just enough power in the battery to take a couple of shots..one of which was our granddaughter’s gingerbread Santa!

Little one staying again overnight, so we have had the tea and bedtime ritual again….
