You should see the pavement

I'm afraid my Dad took a tumble this morning and landed face down on concrete.  It is nothing short of a miracle that he is still alive with no broken bones and no concussion.  

He really has gashed his head and face badly.  The pictures I took prior to this are too gory.   This was taken after the ordeal of having his wounds cleaned and glued without a local anaesthetic.   I offered my hand for him to squeeze... blinky blimey.

Fabulous emergency care from NHS, as ever, but it was chaotic and crowded in A&E.  

He is home and I am staying with him tonight.
