Snowdrops and a daffodil

A brisk walk into the village with a neighbour to drop off rolls for lunch club and a quick visit to the shop. The walk flew by with a few photos taken. However I needn’t have bothered for when walking up the driveway I was surprised to see the first flowering snowdrop and within 10 metres a lonely daffodil.

The daff is situated in a sheltered spot and usually in flower by the end of January, it shows how mild the weather is this year.
