Round the ring road

Back and forth out to Wallingford to sit with Mum and read from a journal I'd found of her journey there and back across the USA in the early 1950s with three of her college chumettes. And, it being my Mum and the 1950s, they just happened to run into Clarke Gable ()and his four doubles) on an MGM shoot in Colorado.

It was quite some journey.

A long evening with A eating together and watching some TV and Match of the Day. She was well on the mend and bridges once broken were now holding strong.
