Serious snow

While in lower areas, the storm created serious problems and some damage, we could in return truly enjoy it up here. It was snowing all night. Heavy snowfall was the forecast until early afternoon before it will turn into rain. We went out mid morning for a circular 3 hour snow shoe hike to Junkerboden, part of it again along the snowed in cross country trails as no skier could use them today.

We arrived exactly back home when the snow fall started turning into sleet. Some snow shoveling and mulled wine before taking a hot shower. It is a bliss when you can start cooking and winding down already at 3pm. Long evening ahead.
