First Snowdrop Sighting

Spotted our first snowdrops around here. Actually C saw them the other day, and led me to them when we went out for a walk with the boys this morning. They are on a grass verge at the side of the lane, and it looks as if something has been having a crafty munch. 
We had an excellent "Christmas" lunch today, along with about 20 others from the village. It was very pleasant to just sit down and get to know some more people. There would have been more but quite a few had to drop out because of flu. We didn't get home until about 4pm so neither of us want any dinner this evening.
