Day Out
Into Edinburgh on the tram, cheekily using the Gyle Centre free car park as a park and ride. Onto the portrait gallery after a heads up from a fellow blippers thechimp and thebear. Three exhibitions I heartily recommend.
'When we were young' some stunning photographs from childhood, well worth the trip on its own. 'The BP Portrait Awards 2017' - wonderful stuff followed by 'The Modern Portrait' some art I'd happily steal.
Then a wet and grey trudge through the town to Haymarket and a late lunch at a new Hungarian restaurant. I have never eaten as much beef in a single sitting! It was grand, I'll be going back. The dinner menu looks very interesting. The interior is a little basic but spotless.
Then home to blip and veg out on the sofa rueing eating so much at lunch time. *burp*
