The unexpected gift

As an animal lover I was appalled to find two braces of pheasants on the doorstep- a gift from a keen local huntsman.
 
In fact I considered not putting the photo up knowing that some people might well find it offensive.
 
 
Having been brought up on a farm I know all about feathering and gutting of birds and I have not wish to go down that route again.
 
M has no such childhood baggage. He has spent the day feathering and de-gutting the birds ready for the oven.
