Cats Beware

(N.B. The pollen is poisonous to cats and can also stain clothing.)

We were given a large bunch of large white lilies for Christmas and they are now all fully open.

I prefer to keep the anthers attached (until they start dropping of their own accord) as I think they add colour contrast and texture to the display.

The petals, particularly in the throat of the trumpet, have outgrowths that add even more texture in close-up.
