Just a Birdie

It's all I could manage today :-)

I usually make my mum a calendar at Christmas but last year ( not the one just gone but the previous one ) she bought herself one in October claiming that she needed it early, so I didn't make her one ..........this Christmas I didn't make her one either because she said she had one already...........she phoned yesterday and asked me why I'd stopped making her a calendar, had she upset me...........I explained the reason but she seemed to think I should have made one anyway ( not sure why) ........so I have spent most of the day trying to find someone who does a personalised slimline calendar ( yes, it has to be slimline), finding suitable photos, preparing and resizing them, waiting ages for them to upload with our tortoise like broadband and ordering said calendar ...........I just know that when I give it to her she will say "what did you waste your money on that for, I've already got one!!"
It's like this most days but I usually just don't have the inclination ( or energy) to type it all out .......however I did quite enjoy sorting through all the photos ( even though it was punctuated with several phone calls from her asking other things for the umpteenth time) and to be perfectly honest if she doesn't want it at the end of the day......I'll keep it and use it myself, so it won't be a complete waste of time :-)
