River Otter Alert

Caught one exploring our dock…just about to slip back in the water.    They don’t get on our boat because they don’t like the music we play for them there.   But heck, they were here before we were…they live in dens on the land, forage for fish, shellfish, birds and small mammals along the shoreline and can dive for long periods underwater,   often leaving crab shells or fish heads on the dock..and always poop ...we can see where they like to slide into the water from the shore…whee!....but we have now blocked their way up to the wharf as it was too much to clean up.
