Perhaps I'm old and tired but I always think that the chances of finding out what really is going on are so absurdly remote that the only thing to do is to say "hang the sense of it" and keep yourself occupied.

Office day for me. Collected car from garage - Subaru replacement bonnet catch was £90! Claire’s wrestling with the Fife job application form.

After tea I watch a video on postmodernism recommended by Angus (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OSuEccEYvaE). I was never much of a philosopher and had no idea that people could get so worked up. Now struggling with ‘deconstructionism’ and ‘relativism’.

Unwisely, I went on to watch a few shorter clips. It was strange to watch people I find deplorable saying things I don’t completely disagree with (https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=p0bnjRFYCdc - ignore the title, the content is quite controversial enough)
