Artwork around the town
First day at work in the new year. Thankfully not a stressful day. A. brought us all a home made sweet bread in pig form. So cute!
Today I did the allergy text for the colour. Tomorrow will be the day I turn my hair into a very nice colour. So excited!
D shaved his beard off. Don't like it.
Today I took this picture under the Regent Bridge in Edinburgh. It's hidden from all the trouble in the city. I love walking down there as it reminds me of the 1994 movie Interview with the Vampire. Such a great movie! Under the Regent Bridge is a short video projected to the wall and shows how a woman kills a man in several different scenes. One time he's falling off the cliffs, pushed by her, one time she's shooting him in the head, one time she's poisoning him, one time she's injecting something into his neck and one time she's stabbing him with her high heels. Not really appropriate though. It's more an artwork to represent a writer/author Val McDermid. It's called New Year's Resurrection. It's commissioned and presented by Edinburgh's Hogmanay & Edinburgh International Book Festival, produced by Underbelly & Pearlfisher in partnership with Edinburgh UNESCO City of Literature Trust and developed and support from Creative Scotland through the Scottish Government's Edinburgh Festivals EXPO Fund.
The second picture was taken at work
Somehow a wee chap got smuggled inside!
