Over rainbow is far away

Stonehaven late afternoon. After the brief lull the rain returned with a vengeance today. More or less non stop rain with a few dry intervals which did not last very long. Despite the rainbow it was raining in Stonehaven while I took this photo.

Short walk in Stonehaven where we bought ice creams, followed by a quick dash to shelter to be able to eat them in relative dry. Another brief walk in Johnshaven was also interrupted by rain.

So this rainbow, actually it is a double rainbow, has failed so far to keep its promise of fair weather to come. The rainbow must have been caused by a small break in the cloud. Yesterday the sea was very rough here, and the sea was crashing over the harbour wall, it was a bit calmer today.
