Dying roses

I was given a bunch of roses between Christmas and New Year ... they have dried out, and before they went into the recycling / compost bin I dug out my tripod and macro lens. So far Blip is making me use my camera again, and this is the first outing for the tripod for months !
Cold and windy to day, and the forecast sunshine isn’t as enticing as I’d hoped. It’s January. I keep noticing left over bits of Christmas that I forgot to tidy up - oh well, another trip to The Shed.
