new growth

two days of rain and everything was grey, dark and brooding. But today, out popped the sun and illuminated a small clump of vibrant green, new growth. It spoke to me of new beginnings, the "not yet" of 2018. I didn't grow this plant, all I did was provide an environment where it could flourish. It did the growing, I did the enabling. A lesson for 2018.
