Twelfth night

So had to take all the Christmas decos down today. I usually don't like doing this as it represents the end of two weeks of fun and Christmas excitement. This year was different. From a new perspective of appreciating (my) life in general and taking each day as it comes for the beautiful wonder it is, I didn't mind taking the decorations down at all as I'm enjoying every day more. I've never been depressed but, probably like most people, have definitely felt those times where it would be easy to slip into a dark place because of the misplaced perception that life is crap; I have always fought that feeling, mostly because that pit of despair is alot harder to get out of once you're in it, than not falling in the first place.
There you go; today I also cut loads of kindling, tried to repair a leaky tap and sampled sushi made by no.2 daughter. A good day.
