Gin Delivery (Friday 5th January 2018)

Earlier this evening my box of goodies for this quarter from the Craft Gin Club was delivered. It included a bottle of Italian Sabatani gin, a bottle of Monte Rosso aperitivo, a bottle of Tassoni Tonica Superfina tonic water, and some rather nice edibles. I thought I'd better get a shot of them before they mysteriously evaporate again.

Coincidentally, at about the same time I was looking at the newly-announced results of the last Still Life challenge, so this was a timely arrival.

R.I.P. Rick Hall  (31 January 1932, Forest Grove MS - 2 January 1918, Muscle Shoals AL)
Arthur Alexander recorded this classic, later a hit for Johnny Kidd and the Pirates and played live by the Beatles, at Rick Hall's FAME studios. It was written by Terry Thompson, one of the members of the house band.
