Thanks badge.

My Mum would have been 113 today.   I can't remember if I have blipped this before (I don't think so) so today seemed a good day for it.  Modern thanks badges are not like this in design, probably because this one is of mid 1960s design.

She was awarded it before her Silver Acorn for decades of service.  This particular thanks was for her efforts in making and selling soft toys while the troop raised money to buy a new head quarters.  Now sadly not used as there is no scout troop in Aspatria.

A bit of an emergency blip as the only time I was out of the house to do the recycling the weather wasn't conducive to photography and besides nothing caught my eye.
