Fat Cat Day

I found an article in the newspaper, that 4th January 2018 was the "Fat Cat Day".
This day marks the moment, when the  the UK’s top bosses will have made more money than the typical UK full-time worker will earn in the entire year.
I think perhaps they get the money, but they don't earn it. 
This incredible injustice is frustrating and upsetting...
Btw, it's the same in Germany and many other countries.
The article ends with the remark, that all this is nothing compared with Amazons boss Jeff Bezos. He has earned in a quarter (15 minutes!) in 2018 as much as a top boss will get in the whole year. No words!
