Nippy New Year

The severe cold snap is well into its second week with a chilly -22C in the Greater Toronto Area. With the wind chill factored in, its -37C. Yikes! This is Winnipeg kind of weather. Or maybe Edmonton or Yellowknife. Not so much Toronto. Alas, tomorrow is the last of it. Sunday brings a warm front of only in the negative single digits.

The squirrel and snowflake are from a Happy Meal box from two or three years ago. Speaking of squirrels, we haven't seen much of them today. I suspect they are staying in their dreys and avoiding the dreadful weather.
