I Need A New Passport

And that means I have to get a new passport photo and after 10 years of looking like someone who should feature on a Most Wanted list, I'm quite pleased about that.

I've done a bit of work on this in Picasa so the interesting eye-make-up effect is pretty much gone. At first glance my passport picture makes me look like I was way too influenced by Alice Cooper. How I was ever let into another country I'll never know. Anyway, this is what I almost looked like 10 years ago.

If you think that's bad, you should see the passport 16 year old me had. I showed it to a friend about 5 years ago and I believe she's still laughing. I certainly didn't rock the long hair and bum-fluff look. I may Blip that one day if you are all very good. Like really, really very good. Nobel Prize winning good.

We were in Limburg today as our Optiker friend had very kindly offered to test G's eyes (have a look at the photo again, she needs them testing). That was awfully kind of him. Anyway she's sorted for glasses and new contacts. I got my eyes tested too and at distance, I have eagle eyes but up close I'm a bit of a mole. I will sort out a new pair of reading glasses soon.
