Mrs F and I had headed down to visit family but unfortunately they were not in.  As we were about to head off we heard a loud noise in the sky.  It was this Airbus A400M doing a few circuits round the airport at a couple of thousand feet.

Fortunately I managed to get to a spot near the runway before he came in for landing.  Unfortunately we didn’t get any more pictures as he took off again straight away and headed back down south.

I have added a couple of extras today, one of this guy flying through the clouds and one of the apron in front of the maintenance hangers with lots of planes lined up.  Pity the airport wasn’t like this all the time.
