Ruskin's View

Glorious sunshine today.  We had planned a day out and had considered, Coniston, Hodge Close and Haweswater.  We ended up in Kirkby Lonsdale and had a poke about the town there.  Not knowing Kirkby the well, we were quite oblivious to this wonderful view from the churchyard.  A local postlady told us all about it and directed us there.

Afterwards lunch in town at one of the cafes - eggs benedict - which is an all time favourite of mine.  I rather liked the wine on the dresser too.  (See extras).
