6-1-18. St Nicholas Church
I came across a small, plain but charming church in the tiny village of West Worldham, Hampshire. It dates from the 12C but was rebuilt from a ruin in late 19C. There was a man 'sorting out' tomorrows service music when I entered the building and he seemed very surprised to see anyone. (There are only 18 houses in the small village, apparently) But he greeted me welcomingly and kindly stepped out of the way while I took some photographs!
