Winter Sundown

An early start this morning as we had a carpenter booked at 7.30am. We've looked at our staircase for many years thinking there is an opportunity for a cupboard underneath. Now we have a very neat doorway in and a surprisingly large space behind it.

Having had the door made and fitted, i (Chris) had a trip out for some paint and on the way home the grey skies parted just enough to let some late afternoon sun appear. Blip done.
