Flower

I ended up watching a film called The Letter on BBC2 this afternoon, starring Bette Davis and directed by William Wyler and it was great melodrama.  I also think it was watching films like this as a kid - because both my parents were movie buffs - that made me like black and white photography.  It was a like a masterclass in lighting and exposure.
