Christmas surprise!

So our big surprise came this morning around 10am. We were just exchanging presents when there was a knock at the door. I opened it to find my sister had decided to pay us a surprise visit. I was stunned, really, and so so happy. The boys and I have been alone at Christmas for years and it was so nice to have one of the family come to celebrate with us.

We visited my brother and his family briefly to dole out festive greetings and gifts to the cousins, before coming back for a late lunch, after dinner games, Doctor Who and relaxing in front of a fire.
