Busy day out!

Today was planned for a week or two with our obsession for Escape rooms being given a further fun filled day in Stirling.

Our planned departure from Edinburgh was leaving at 0900. However, with the collection of our team we left the house early thinking that the Bypass would be chaos for a Friday morning. However, to our surprise the road was clear all the way. We got round in less than 20 minutes. This lead to an early coffee in Starbucks as we met up with our crew.

The road to Stirling was all clear too, so much so there was pre-shopping completed by team members prior to our room briefiing/ escape.

First room for the day was Velocity. A space themed escape. This was exciting, if a wee bit confusing with some of the puzzles. We did however escape with time to spare.

Lunch and post-room debrief was completed in readiness for room 2.

Our second room was Castle Alba. This was a William Wallace/ Rob Roy themed room with swords and other types of paraphernalia in the room. This was quite an exciting room to complete.

In our post-room thoughts MrsCyclops looked up a soon to be closing room in Edinburgh. There was availability that evening. So, with our euphoric escape positivity a further room was booked for that evening.
Dinner was had to fuel us at Las Iguanas before is heading to room 3 for the day. This was the Darkers Side of Edinburgh. A Burke and Hare room, which had some good puzzles for us. Again, we escaped !
At this point in the evening we were about to go home, but out team got talking to the escape room host. From this conversation we got to use the time we didn't use in the other room to get to do their other closing room. Otherwise, we'd have never gotten to do this room ever (last day was Saturday).
This time the room was to find the Holy Grail. A rather strange room with lots of free mason parephenalia scattered about the room.
Again, we escaped this room, but we have to admit we did get more clues than we're used to. In fact we felt that we got too many, but our host informed us that we'd got fewer clues that previous teams.
Tonight's blip is in fact the tree in Charlotte square. Unfortunately for me my only photo for today. To add insult my phone appears to have failed to focus on the big sparkly tree.
