Run Down

A lazy start to the day was followed by a trip to pick up Jae's new car. He is very happy to be on the road now. He has paid for the car and insurance but we paid his road tax for the year to give him a helping hand. This afternoon I took a walk in search of a blip. I have noticed this old derelict building before. It is an old Gothic villa built in 1830, but another source says it was built in the early 1900's  . It was purchased in the 1980 by the NHS for use as nurses quarters and then later on used as a residents for people with long term mental health problems. It has been empty since 2004. In was purchased in 2008 by a local School but has been in limbo since then not sure who owns it now but its a great shame to see it in this state.
A relaxing evening now enjoying a couple of beers at home trying to keep warm.
