Contrasts

I chose mono to increase the contrast in lights in this photo.  Our double front doors have panels with panes on each side and there is a window with panes above the doors and panels.  About 5PM during this time of year, the setting sun creates light patterns on anything on the opposite end of the large room.  We always leave our Christmas tree up until at least Old Christmas (still celebrated on the coastal Outer Banks of North Carolina) and Epiphany.  I am intrigued by the light effects on, around, and across the lighted Christmas tree.  I think the effect is more dramatic in large.
