Emergency picture!

I promised myself I would be more organised with my photos at the beginning of the year (errrr, yes)... so here we are, less than a week in, and it's an emergency picture.  

We were invited to a birthday party today for a friend in the area who has moved away to Lincoln, which was a very good way to spend a dreary day.  They boys had great fun - of course - what's not to like about other children's toys, party food, lots of new people to play with and tractor rides around the garden.  We also had a lovely time, lots of food for us and a couple of glasses of prosecco for me - yum, husband drove home... 

Two sleeping children by the time we got home and a quiet afternoon.  The husband entertained the eldest with a paper plane, which turned out to be the very best fun, running all over the house and laughing endlessly.  The paper plane seems to come from one of my magazines, not entirely sure how I feel about that one.
